A major private healthcare provider engaged Amplify to deliver a spend optimisation program, beginning with an extensive opportunity assessment and concluding with the delivery of a two-year spend optimisation roadmap. Amplify initially analysed spend and purchasing behaviour across critical hospital categories, integrating clinical stakeholder interviews with industry benchmarking to identify 13 high-impact initiatives. Over a period of 24-months, Amplify managed the implementation of these projects across Pharmacy, Medical Consumables, Medical Equipment, and Prostheses, covering $36M in annual addressable spend. One of Australia's largest energy companies engaged Amplify to undertake a Procurement Policy refresh and re-design of end-to-end procurement processes. The focus was on eliminating inefficiencies, while improving commercial outcomes. Amplify adopted a material risk approach to the policy refresh, which supported a more agile and proportionate approach to procurement delivery. This then underpinned the procurement process re-design and enabled the removal of over 50 redundant steps and over 40 surplus templates, resulting in streamlined ways of working and improved efficiency across the procurement lifecycle.

Implementation of a consistent approach to supplier management for major retail group
Australia's largest supermarket retailer engaged Amplify to project manage the rollout of a comprehensive supplier management capability program. The program aimed to instil a business-wide, standardised supplier management framework (including supplier lifecycle management, contract management, performance management, risk management, and value generation). Over the course of a year, Amplify developed supplier management processes, underpinned by technology, before successfully delivering a pilot program for the assessment and onboarding of key suppliers in parallel to upskilling process stakeholders. Following validation, a structured multi-phase delivery plan was developed transitioning ownership to the client's internal team. A leading public and private hospital group were seeking to uplift procurement capability, with a focus on instilling category management principles across their procurement function. Amplify ran a detailed capability assessment to understand team strengths and areas for growth. Utilising self-assessment tools, collaborative workshops and moderation sessions, the insights informed custom category management training. The training was conducted over a 1-day session, with interactive workshops and activities which saw the teams prepare and partially complete category plans for their respective categories. Our client was seeking to develop Australian suppliers and supply markets to focus on investing into Australian sovereign defence capability. Amplify were engaged to enable the SRM Framework. Deliverables included segmenting suppliers in accordance with our clients' priorities, developing SRM procedures, tools, and artefacts to support the implementation. We also conducted a SRM capability assessment and delivered training to the team to bolster SRM capability.
